Professional on-site spray refinishing for shopfronts, shutters, aluminium frames and doors, architectural metalwork and commercial interiors. Projects are scoped around the surfaces, access, trading requirements and programme. You avoid the disruption and replacement cost of ripping out sound assets.
Commercial capability
A commercial coating job needs more than a good spray finish. Scope, access, sequencing, colour control and handover all need to be clear before work starts.
Jay remains the named project lead from initial assessment through to handover, so responsibility does not disappear between sales and site.
Surfaces, preparation, coating system, exclusions, access requirements and agreed extras are confirmed in writing before work begins.
Commercial invoices, project photographs and coating information can be provided for your records. Site-specific requirements are discussed before scheduling.
Where the project allows it, work can be planned around opening hours, other trades and handover dates rather than forcing the site around the spraying.

Commercial surfaces often remain serviceable long after the finish looks tired. A shutter can be mechanically sound but faded, an aluminium shopfront can be structurally fine but visually dated, and a commercial interior can need a brand refresh without needing replacement. Refinishing targets the finish rather than discarding the asset.
Refinishing can renew suitable existing surfaces without replacement. We assess the substrate, agree repairs and specify compatible coatings. Work areas, trading restrictions, drying times and access are agreed before booking.
Jay leads the job from assessment to handover, drawing on his automotive and industrial spray experience. Scope, materials, access and any support required are agreed before work begins.
What gets sprayed
If the surface is sound and the problem is how it looks, it is usually a spraying job. If it is not, you will be told that rather than sold a coating that will fail.
Frontage, fascia surrounds, door frames and shutters resprayed in your brand colour or any RAL shade. Sprayed in situ, with temporary area closures and return-to-use times agreed in advance.
Curtain walling, shopfront glazing frames, office windows and entrance doors. Tired or colour-faded commercial aluminium is one of the strongest cases for spraying, because replacement is disruptive and expensive.
Communal entrance doors, flat doors, stair balustrades, letterbox banks and corridor joinery brought back to a consistent, uniform finish across a whole block.
Kitchen units, internal and front doors and window frames resprayed between tenancies. A respray is measured in days rather than the weeks a replacement kitchen takes, and it keeps the unit lettable.
Cupboard fronts, counters, service hatches and fitted joinery refinished in a suitable hard-wearing coating instead of being stripped out and replaced.
Suitable exterior coating systems on industrial doors, gates, railings, bollards and external metalwork, with the correct primer for the substrate underneath.
Occupied and managed property
Care settings and managed lets cannot simply close for a refurbishment. Work is planned around residents, tenants and staff, with the paperwork your compliance team or landlord client needs.
Early starts, evenings and weekends can be arranged, so corridors, entrances and communal areas are worked on when they are quietest. Void periods between tenancies are used to turn a property around in days, not weeks.
Risk assessments and method statements, COSHH assessments and product safety data sheets for the coatings used are supplied on request before work starts, along with proof of £6m public liability cover.
Work areas are sectioned off and fully masked, with clear signage and safe walkways kept open. Coatings are chosen for fast return to use, areas are ventilated throughout, and everything is cleaned down at the end of each session.
Why commercial clients use it
We agree a work plan around your premises and operating hours, subject to availability. Spraying and curing may require temporary area closures. Access, protection and safe return to use are confirmed before work begins.
A replacement roller shutter runs £1,000 to £2,500 installed and closes the unit while it goes in. A replacement commercial kitchen or full frame set is a far bigger number again. Refinishing removes most of that cost.
Jay is your named point of contact from assessment to handover and remains responsible for the agreed work. If support is needed, staffing and site arrangements are discussed before the job starts.
Full public liability cover through Simply Business, with the certificate published on this site so you can check it before you instruct rather than asking for it afterwards.
If you hold several properties or units, pricing can be discussed across the portfolio rather than job by job. White-label work for maintenance companies is also available.
Five years on kitchen work, three years on exterior work including uPVC, garage doors and shutters. Issued in writing, not implied.
How a commercial job runs
WhatsApp photos of the frontage, unit or property along with the address and what you want changing. For a portfolio, say how many units are involved. You get an initial guide price back, not a form response.
Jay attends to check substrate, condition and access, and to confirm what preparation the surface actually needs. Anything that would compromise the finish is flagged at this point rather than discovered mid-job.
A fixed written quote covering preparation, coatings and guarantee. Colour is confirmed to a RAL reference or matched to your brand colour. Once a booking deposit is received you can ask for a sprayed sample panel where practical, so the colour is approved before the main work begins.
Work is scheduled to suit your opening hours or void period. Areas are masked and contained, and the site is left clean at the end of each day.
Specified coating applied, left to cure properly rather than rushed back into service, then walked round with you before sign-off. Written guarantee issued on completion.
Commercial work is usually colour-critical. Shutters and frontages get matched to your existing brand colour or specified straight from a RAL reference, so a second unit sprayed later still matches the first.
The most requested commercial shades are RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, RAL 9005 Jet Black and deep brand blues and greens, but any RAL shade can be mixed.
Send the site postcode, the surfaces involved, approximate size, preferred timing and any access or trading restrictions. Add wide photographs plus close-ups of the existing condition. Jay will review the scope and advise whether a site assessment is the right next step.
